Wow, I have had an incredible month reading, and all the books I have read have been brilliant in their own way. I am so glad I have got my read back on since my lockdown blue’s where I just couldn’t focus enough on a book. Now i am back, and I can’t wait to crack on with my august reads!!

My Top 5 Books Of July!!

Number 5 it is His and Hers by Alice Feeney

5!! When A woman is Murdered in Blackdown Village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Anna’s ex husband, DCI Jack Harper, is suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own investigation.

Number 4 is Patience of a dead man by Mark Clark

4!! What would you do if you just spent all your money on a house that is haunted? In this paranormal thriller of a novel, we meet Tim Russell who just put his last dollar on a handyman’s dream house. Newly single his plan is to live in the house as he restores it for re-sale.

To his horror: as his work starts the ghosts begin to appear.

Number 3 – Mother in Law by Sally hepworth

3!! She has never approved of you. But it’s when her body is found the secrets start to come out… From the moment Lucy met her husbands mother, Diana, she was kept at arms length. Now Diana has been found dead, a suicide note near body. Everyone in the family is hiding something but what?

Number 3 – The witch House by Ann Rawson

2!! Who can you trust, if you can’t trust yourself? Alice Hunter, grieving and troubled after a breakdown, stumbles on the body of her friend and trustee Harry Rook. The Police determine he has been ritually murdered and suspicion falls on the vulnerable Alice, who inherited the place known locally as the witch house. When investigations turn up more evidence, and it all seems to point to Alice, she starts to doubt herself.

And this months Number 1 If I Cant Have you – By Charlotte Levin

Did you feel it too? When we lay on our back fingertips touching. Breeze from the open window cooling our stomachs. You did. I know you did. And do you remember? How when I Shivered, you pulled the duvet over me. Kissed my goose bumped skin, stroked my hair.
