Alexandra Avellino has just found her fathers mutilated body, and needs the police right away. She believes her sister Killed him, and that she is still in the house, with a knife.
Sofia Avellino has just found her fathers mutilated body and needs the police right away. She believes her sister, Alexandra did it, and that she is still in the house, locked in the bathroom.
Both women go on trial at the same time. A joint trial in front of one Jury. But one of these women are lying. One of them is a murderer.
Sitting in a jail cell, about to go on trial with her sister for murder, you might think that this is the last place she expected to be. You’d be wrong.

Firstly I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of the ebook in exchange for my honest review, and what a book it was. This is the best Eddie Flynn book to date, and one that will keep you guessing until the very end.
The story follows lawyer Eddie and his team, and lawyer Kate and her team on the murder trial of the centaury. Two sisters on trial for the murder of their father. Who will you believe? No-one can call this, it is fifty-fifty throughout the entire book and you will probably change your mind at least fifty times or more.
This was an incredible storyline and truly shows the brilliant mind of the author, put that together with an incredible set of characters and what do you find – one hell of an un-put-down-able read.
There were so many excellent characters in this book, the majority of which were likeable but each and every one of them was incredibly well written.
I am the biggest fan of Eddie Flynn, i love everything their is about him but my favourite character in this book had to be Kate, she is completely relatable and such a strong, independent yet sneaky character, i just absolutely loved her and judging by the ending of this book, i presume whilst also hoping with all my fingers crossed, that we havent seen the last of her.
This was a fantastic thriller, that kept me on my toes throughout.

I don’t read a lot of thrillers (but I want to!) and this one does sound great. I do love books that feature murder trials.
