When Jade Ferguson’s affair with a married man abruptly ends, she’s devastated.
There is no quick fix for a broken heart. A fresh start is required.
New job. New home. New neighbours.
The residents of Gresham Terrace seem pleasant enough.
Except for one…
Firstly I would like to thank Rachel at Rachel’s Random Resources for my spot on this blog tour and to the publisher for my copy of this ebook.
This is the authors first psychological thriller and I sincerely hope it will not be her last. This was an excellent mysterious read which I read in only 2 sittings.
The story follows Jade trying to rebuild her life after a ten year affair with a married man goes terribly wrong. She finds herself a new job, new home – fresh start, but it wasn’t quite the fresh start she had hoped for.
I absolutely loved this story, it was a fantastic read with some exceptional characters. Although I figured out who jade’s new neighbour was the moment she introduced herself I had no idea it would lead to where it did.
Throughout the novel there were times when I was in two minds – was jade’s neighbour really messing with her head, or was she just paranoid and deluded? Turns out I couldn’t have been more wrong but I believe that is what the author wanted and I couldn’t believe my eyes when the truth unfolded. It was definitely an OMG type of moment.
The characters in this story were incredibly well written, as much as I though Jade was a bit of an odd ball, she was still by far my favourite character – she was a little strange but she was funny and quick witted. Saying that I do think Dee Parker was the best written character – she was certainly the underdog of this book.
