A murdered woman…

When the body of a young woman is found in a local park, DC Maggie Jamieson knows she’s dealing with no ordinary killer.  The murder victim has been disfigured; her outfit changed to resemble someone else.  Someone Maggie knows all too well…her close friend Dr Kate Moloney.

A determined detective…

Maggie is determined to keep her friend safe, but with Kate already struggling with a threatening stalker, Maggie now fears Kate’s life is in real danger.  Who else would want to harm Kate and why else would the killer be turning his victims into exact replicas – his living dolls?

Can Maggie find the depraved killer? Or will Kate become his next living doll?

This is the third book in the DC Maggie Jamieson series and it is the best on yet. What a book to end the year on.

Although I was pretty upset that Kate and Maggie are never going to happen I finally found my connection with Maggie, I felt her plea of not feeling normal to her brother, and knew of the torment that was going through her head. In the previous books in this series I kind of only tolerated Maggie, she just wasn’t my kind of person. Now I have seen another side to her – I get her and I feel like I have her back.

If you love a fast paced thriller, then you are going to love this book, I could feel the anxiety bursting through each page as I sat on the edge of my seat, quite literally.

This was absolutely fantastic and after reading them on my kindle I have no doubts in my mind about ordering those paperbacks for my crime shelf and pre-ordering book number 4.
