It was supposed to be the perfect holiday: a week long trip for six teenage friends on a remote tropical island.
But when their guide dies of a stroke leaving them stranded, the trip of a lifetime turns into a nightmare.
Because someone on the island knows each of the groups worst fears. And one by one their becoming a reality.
There has not been a book I haven’t read from this author that wasn’t fantastic, but I think this her best one yet.
You can pretty much get a feel for what the book is about with just the title but I guarantee it brings so much more… with a thrilling pace, incredible thought out character and a plot that will keep keep you guessing with an ending you won’t be expecting – what more can you ask for.
There are six main characters in this book, however the story only really follows two of them with each chapter alternating mainly between Danny and Jessie.
Danny, I wasn’t really keen on from the off-set he seemed like a bit of a jerk – whereas Jessie was likeable from the beginning. I think a big part in this was because we knew what Jessie had been through but we didn’t find out until the end with Danny.
This was one hell of a thrilling read that you will not be able to put down.
