Aubrey does love to be beside the seaside. All those rock pools to muck about in, the caves to explore, endless food opportunities from the beach huts. Life is good. And it’s even better now that his best mate Vincent has joined the Goodman household.
But the sun slips behind a cloud when a body is found near Lilac Tree Lodge, the care home for the elderly in which Molly Goodman works. Suddenly it doesn’t all seem quite so jolly…
First off I would like to thank the Author and Red Dog Press for my spot on the blog tour and for my copy of the ebook.
This was a refreshing little cosy thriller, it had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going on but with some of the main characters being cats it was a complete breath of fresh air. I loved how they was not just a pet and they had their own mind, and conversations. This was just perfect to read.
The story was mainly based around a care home with A LOT of stuff happening. Honestly I didn’t know weather I was coming or going with the amount of turns there was in this book.
It was certainly a fantastic read, and as this is my first introduction to the cat noir series I will most certainly be going back and reading the previous 2 books.
