A year since their last case, and Adam and Colin are called out of semi-retirement when Stonebridge legend and regular town Santa, Gerald Agnew, is found dead in the snow.

The police believe his death to be a drunken accident, but evidence that our amateur detectives uncover points to something more sinister.

When DI Whitlaw dismisses their claims, Adam and Colin must navigate drug dealers, deception, and department store Santa’s to get to their truth.

Ok … so first I am ashamed to admit that I have not read all of the Stonebridge Mysteries due to personal circumstances – but after reading this book. 🤩 that HAS to change.

This was an incredible cosy mystery which I devoured in one sitting. From the first chapter I was captivated by Adam and even developed my first literary Boy-Crush.

Adam is such a sweet and sensitive guy who won’t give up until justice is served even though he couldn’t really be bothered getting into things at the start I suppose the cause of it just niggled and niggled until he didn’t have a choice. It was what he was meant to do.

I absolutely loved the bond and friendship between him and his partner Colin. The actual A team. They are a cute little duo and I honestly can’t wait to be able to order all of the Stonebridge books to find out what else they have been up to.

This is definitely a series not to be missed!!

And yes, I know that from just reading this book! 🤪

The author has come in and took the reading community by storm with all of his works and I can not wait to see what we have next.
