Check out my #BookReview for #IntoTheDark by @fionaanncummins

MY RATING – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

THE PLACE – Seawings, a beautiful Art Deco home overlooking the sweep of the bay in midtown-on-sea.

THE CRIME – The gilded Holden family – Piper and Gray and their two teenage children, Riva and Artie – has vanished from the house without a trace.

THE DETECTIVE – DS Saul Anguish, brilliant but with a deep dark past, treads the narrow line between light and shade.

One late autumn morning, Pipers best friend arrives at Seawings to discover an eerie scene – the kettle is still warm, all the families phones are charging on the worktop, the cars are in the garage. But the household is deserted.

In fifteen year old Riva’s bedroom, scrawled across the mirror in blood are three words:

Make.

Them.

Stop.

What happens next?

When I was invited to request a copy of this book from NetGalley I didn’t know what to expect… I didn’t read the blurb, I didn’t need too. After reading When I Was Ten last year the author became an auto read for me. So I knew I would love it.

What I didn’t know, was just how amazing this book would be… it had me captivated from the beginning and did not let me go until the very end and even then I wanted more!

In the first half of the book everyone is perceived to be something they are most definitely not and as each chapter moves forward and the revelations keep coming you will not know who you can trust and it will shock the bones off you.

I couldn’t actually tell you my favourite character right now, because they all deceived me in some way. In the most shocking way. But yet I still felt the deepest connection to them all.

This was an AMAZING thriller that hooked me from beginning to end and one I certainly could not put down.
