#Book 1 for #BeatTheBacklog completed. Check out my #BookReview for #TheSecretsHeKept by @jackiewalsh_ie

MY RATING – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It started like any other day at the hairdressers where Sally works as a stylist… until her first client shows her a family photograph that causes Sally to collapse in shock.

In one moment, Sally discovers that Tom has been hiding an explosive secret – one that could tear apart their family.

Faced with an impossible dilemma – search for the truth, or keep her contented life? – Sally is about to discover that even those closest to us have secrets… and that sometimes the truth is the last thing we want to hear.

Well what a fantastic way to enter the New Year. This was one hell of a twisted read. I didn’t know if I was coming or going.

What started out as a perfectly normal family life for Sally soon turned into her worst nightmare. Her family turned upside down, murder, lies, deceit.

I felt so sorry for Sally, she was so relatable and didn’t deserve all the crap she went through, her whole family lying to her. Feeling helpless and hopeless and just wanting her life back together. My heart literally bled for the woman.

But… as much as this book had me on the edge of my seat, it was definitely a cozy read, wishing throughout that the family remain together.

A lovely read to enter in the New Year and definitely one I would recommend.

Until next time bookworms…
